Biography of Roland Suluku
Roland Suluku was born in Gondama, Kamajei Chiefdom, Moyamba District, Southern Province, Sierra Leone, West Africa. He is an Animal Scientist, Senior Lecturer, and Head Department of Animal Science in the School of Agriculture and Food Sciences, Njala University. He is a researcher, writer, and editor. Among his works are Dogs of war: Animal Health Club Champions Rabies Prevention to Protect Livelihood and Lives in Sierra Leone. Dogs of War: Animal Health Clubs are working, and a New Generation of Young People are Becoming Empowered. Use Animal Health Club to Promote Rabies Awareness and Control in Sierra Leone. One Health Approach to control Brucellosis in Sierra Leone. Dr. Suluku is co-author with Professor Paul Richards of Social pathways for Ebola Virus Disease in Rural Sierra Leone and Some Implications for Containment. His research mainly focuses on awareness-raising, disease surveillance in rural communities, zoonosis, and public health using the one health approach.
