Profile of Elizabeth L. A. Kamara

Elizabeth L.A Kamara is the second of three children born to Mr. and Mrs. John M. Kamanda who taught her the virtues of education and humility. She grew up in the east end of Freetown and attended the Annie Walsh Memorial School. She holds an Honours degree in English Language and Literature and a Master of Arts degree, both from the University of Sierra Leone. She currently lectures the key genres of Literature in English in the Department of Language Studies at Fourah Bay College, the University of Sierra Leone. She is the author of Distilled: A Collection of Poems. She is married with two lovely sons. Her joy is her family.
