Biography of Alie 'Fayabon' Basma

Alie Basma was born in Lunsar, Sierra Leone and completed his secondary school education at the Albert Academy in Freetown before proceeding to England for further studies. Upon completion of his bachelor's and master's degrees in Pharmacology at Portsmouth University, Alie moved to the United States where he has worked in biomedical research in academia and currently works in drug development in the pharmaceutical industry. Alie also has an MBA degree from Wilmington University.
