Biography of SIAKA KROMA
Siaka Kroma was born in Sierra Leone, West Africa. He grew up in rural Sierra Leone and became a member of the Poro and Wonde societies of the Mende people at different times in his life. His education broadened his knowledge of the country, its people, and their culture. He attended the Methodist Primary School in Segbwema, in the Eastern Province, The St. Andrew’s Secondary School and the Government Secondary School, popularly known as the Bo School, in Bo in the Southern Province, and the Albert Academy in the Western Area of Sierra Leone. He went on to study at the Njala University College, Sierra Leone, Edinburgh University in the United Kingdom, and University of Toronto in Canada. He taught in secondary schools and universities in Sierra Leone and the United States of America till his retirement. He is married with five children.
